In recent years,as the operation mileages of China's high-speed railway has been increasing and the technical standards has been improving,higher requirements for the stability,reliability and quick response to the fault of traction power supply system are put forward.Traction substation is the heart of traction power supply system.It plays a decisive role in the stability,reliability and quick response to the fault of traction power supply system.At present,every phase of information representation and transmission of the traction substation is realized in the way of two-dimensional drawings and document files,causing difficulties in information communication,and information incoordination and inconsistency among different participants in different phases,which has become an important factor hindering further improvement of the operation and management capabilities of traction substations.Therefore,there is an urgent need for new technology and new methodology to be introduced.BIM(Building Information Modeling)was first applied in the construction industry.It is known as the core driving force of the construction industry informatization.The application of BIM technology in the construction projects can fundamentally solve the difficulties of information communication,information incoordination and inconsistency.As BIM technology is further cognized,its application scope has been extended to the field of infrastructure construction.In this paper,a BIM technology-based traction substation equipment operation and maintenance system is designed and implemented,so to explore the application,realization and results of applying BIM technology in the operation and maintenance phase of the traction substation equipment,with a view to further enhance the traction substation operation and management capabilities.First,based on the analysis of the background and the application of BIM technology in the construction,electric power and railway industries on domestic and abroad,this paper puts forward several factors that obstruct the application of BIM technology in the operation and maintenance phase of the traction substation equipment,and makes targeted solution.Second,this paper studies the BIM standards involved in the establishment of a BIM model of all the traction substations and selects Revit as the fundamental modeling platform according to the parameterized capabilities and non-geometric information expansion capabilities of the major BIM software.Meanwhile the paper studies the way to realize parameterized modeling based on Revit modeling software.Third,this paper classifies and grades non-geometric information and achieves the goal of integrating the geometric information and non-geometric information into the same BIM model through the redevelopment of Revit,therefore establishes a real BIM model and studies the way of information integration based on IFCstandard.Fourth,based on the BIM model of all traction substations,and according to the on-site requirements from the staffs in charge of traction substation operation and maintenance,the system business process and data flow are arranged,the system functional modules are determined,and the development and implementation of business modules and the visualization modules are realized through the redevelopment of Revit and by using Unity3 D respectively.This system mainly consists of 12 sub-modules,including system management,equipment basic information,visualization,equipment ledger,duty management,equipment maintenance,operation monitoring,patrol management,record management,spare parts,switching operation and training materials management.The operation and maintenance system of traction substation based on BIM technology integrates the geometric and non-geometric information of every participant in every phase of the construction period,and inputs most of the operation and maintenance information through the terminal.This effectively solves the problem of information incoordination and inconsistency which result in "information gap" and "information island".Besides,the system presents geometric information in a 3D visualization mode,and is maximally compatible with the current information exchange system,thus can greatly improve the operation efficiency.
