Electrified railway has developed over fifty years, while the secondary system has experienced several stages. With the extensive and sophisticated use of computer systems, the Integrated Traction Substation Automation System enters a wide-popularizing stage. However the railway maintenance work is still in the lag phase. Design Institutes do not fully understand details of the various manufacturers of Integrated Automation System, and Construction Departments are relatively behind the time. This paper bases on these realities above, elaborates the design procedure and the main point of scene debugging maintenance in the Integrated Traction Substation Automation System, to realize the close cooperation of Design Institutes, Construction Departments and the Operation Managements.The significance of this study:the current design and construction form is disconnecting with the user maintenance. At present, Design Institutes integrate automation system engineering design and configuration setting in accordance with their own design styles and design specifications; integrated automation system equipment suppliers arranges production in conformity to the Design Institutes’engineering design drawings; Construction Departments do their work by following the drawings; Operation Managements accept the completed integrated automation system equipment passively. Design Institutes can not adapt their scheme to the actual needs of Operation Managements in engineering design, which is adverse to passenger dedicated line maintenance. At the same time, Construction Departments do have problems to understanding the integrated automation engineering drawings and configuration setting in construction, that retard the construction progress, as well as increasing workload.The main work of this thesis:Expound the approaches and contents of project design. Compare several schemes of AC circuits and control circuits to choose the optimizing one.Bring forward the comprehensive automation system configuration setting principle. Optimize the configuration setting, especially the control system configuration and remote information configuration setting,Introduce the content of integrated automation system debugging. Optimize the debugging scheme.With the employing feedback of automation system, optimize the maintenance scheme.Based on the practical operation situation of electrified railway integrated automation system, this paper optimizes.
