With the rapid development of the construction industry,the traditional management mode has been unable to meet the increasingly complex engineering needs.The introduction of BIM technology will effectively solve the problem.As the second technological revolution in architecture,BIM technology has been closely connected with the computer,Internet and other technologies.Firstly,this paper discusses the research background and significance of BIM,and analyzes the current development status of this series of software at home and abroad.Then,through the comparison between BIM and CAD,this paper expounds the significance of BIM software promotion.Then,the application of BIM technology in bridge design stage,bridge construction stage and bridge operation and maintenance stage is introduced.Taking No.2 Bridge in Wolonggou as the engineering background,using the Bentley series software for the simulation of the bridge.Through the BIM technology,the collision between the pile reinforcement and the bearing platform reinforcement is discovered in advance,which effectively reduces the waste of resources caused by the change of the scheme.Also the detailed statistics and 4D schedule simulation,real simulation steps in the process of construction,effective cost budget,control of materials and equipment into play also play a positive role.In addition,the 3D output and rendering functions of BIM technology are implemented,The 3D output technology can not only output the project information in the shortest time,but also protect the original data of the design unit,Render technology is convenient and quick to output high quality render images and video,providing real renderings for publicity.Finally,the BIM 3D model is introduced into Ansys and Midas FEA through the middle format,for the heat of hydration and relatively the finite element calculation.While reducing the modeling time of finite element software,it also avoids the deviation caused by inaccurate information transmission.Based on the above research,this paper summarizes the method of construction through BIM technology,and provides reference for the subsequent utilization of BIM technology to improve the engineering management level.Although BIM research has only just begun in China,more and more universities and research institutes have devoted themselves to the study of BIM technology.In general,there is still a long way to go in our country's BIM technology research.However,in the near future,China will definitely develop from BIM technology giants to BIM technology power.
