Considering the circumstances,the extensive distribution and abundant reserves and low price of aeolian sand in Zhangwu Area,given the lower distance costs of raw material and the cost of road construction,the design that cement stabilized aeolian sand and macadam is handled as pavement base structure is proposed according to local conditions and optimum mix ratio of base mixtures and its road performance are explored significantly.The applicability that cement stabilized aeolian sand and macadam is handled as pavement base structure is studied systematically in the background of the test road new line in Zhangwu Area.Firstly,the performance criteria of basic raw materials of cement stabilized aeolian sand and macadam are tested.Then,baesd on homogeneous design of formulation the experiment of mixed material of base course is arranged.By doing regression analysis by SPSS,the results of test are optimized and road performance is tested and contrasted by doing mechanical property test of compressive strength and compression resilience and splitting strength about alternative mixture ratio and optimum mix proportion of base course is identified.In addition,the mechanical properties of cement stabilized aeolian sand and cement stabilized sandstones were compared and analyzed according to the best mix ratio.Pavement structure layer is designed and calculated by HPDS and test road is measured and core sample is studied.Compaction degree and planeness and rebound deflection of base course are measured and road performance of solid engineering is tested by doing the experiment of compressive strength and compressive resilience.last,Simulation analysis of roadbed and road pavement stricture under the action of vehicle moving load is acquired by FLAC3D.The change rule of vertical dynamic stress and dynamic displacement of whole structure layer shoud be grasped significantly and the effect of load and speed on pavement structure should also be grasped and road performance of basic structure scheme is demonstrated from the simulation point.Based on the above mentioned studies,we got several valuable results as follows:The performance of raw material meets the standard and the material can be used as the base material of three grade highway.Optimum mix proportion of base mixture of cementstabilizedaeoliansandandmacadamisaeolian sand:macadam?510mm?:macadam?1020mm?:macadam?2030mm?=40%:15%:20%:25%,and cement admixture is 4.5%.Base structure of cement stabilized a eolian sand and macadam has good road performance and mechanical properties according to the best mixture ratio design.The base mixture can meet the requirements of road performance of strength,stiffness and deflection when it is applied to actual road engineering under light traffic load and design speed and it is worth spreading and applicating in road base of low grade highway in the west of Liaoning province.
