In recent years,with the wide application of computer,communication and electronic technology,China's electric power system gradually develops toward networking,digitalization and intelligentization.In such conditions,the traditional substation's relay protection device has been unable to meet the requirements of the safe and stable operation of power system,and unable to adapt to the trend of modern power system management.Substation Comprehensive Automation Transformation has become an urgent problem.The general trend of the power system is the coordination and optimization of power system from the overall view and the interoperability,resource sharing of the whole power system.it is difficult to meet the requirements simply by manual operation and traditional relay equipment.Along with the improvement of dispatching automation of power networw,informatization and interaction level,it has become a consensus that building a integral automation system in the dispatching control center and substation in order to realize resource sharing and optimize resource allocation in power system.This paper is based on the comprehensive automation system transformation of a 110 kV substation of Hebei southern grid in Gaocheng District of Shijiazhuang.This paper expounds the comprehensive automation technology of substation,studies and determines the overall transformation scheme of substation integrated automation system.The project,target,principle,implementation plan and key technology of the two equipment transformation are discussed and analyzed.The perfect network design scheme adds "remote viewing" function on the basis of "four remote" function,which provides advanced technical application for substation intellectualization and unattended operation.The actual project reform proves that integrated automation system can greatly reduce the labor intensity of staff on duty,so as to realize centralized monitoring,control and management of substation equipment,and ultimately achieve unattended operation.
