Owing to that PSCAD/EMTDC is one of the earliest batch of power system analysis software,a large number of system models are established in PSCAD/EMTDC.ADPSS,as a all-digital real-time simulation system with Chinese independent intellectual property rights,has many advantages,such as high cost performance and good expansibility.Hence more and more models need to be built in ADPSS.Therefore,it is necessary to transform data files between these two softwares.However,it is a big challenge for researchers to realize the interconnection between ADPSS and PSCAD/EMTDC.To solve the difficulties of conversion between the two software,this paper prensents an automatic conversion method of electromagnetic transient model between PSCAD/EMTDC and ADPSS.The research was developed from graph transformation and parameter transformation.For graphics,this paper studies the conversion of two directions respectively.When the graph of the model is transferred from PSCAD/EMTDC to ADPSS,because of the inconsistency of topology organization between the primary system and the secondary system in ADPSS,topological analysis is needed respectively for the primary system and the secondary system.First,establish a node incidence matrix system;then search the bus nodes;finally merge the redundant buses.For the secondary system,we search the input node from the output node,which can avoid backtracking to speed up the analysis.The depth-first search algorithm is implemented to analysis the phase of the element endpoint and the reference voltage of buses.When the model is transferred from ADPSS to PSCAD/EMTDC,we calculates the terminal coordinates based on the dynamic characteristics of component ports,and proposes an automatic wiring method that could avoid wrong connection.Finally,the IEEE14 is performed as an example to verify graphics conversion on the two directions.For the difference of parameters between PSCAD/EMTDC and ADPSS model,the generator,transformer,converter and several typical components are comparative studied to elaborate parameters transformation.Also,the automatic conversion software between PSCAD/EMTDC and ADPSS is developed.Finally,a reliability evaluation method of model transformation based on PRONY transformation is proposed.Through PRONY analysis,the credibility of transformation is quantitatively analyzed from frequency,damping and amplitude.Taking CIGRE and IEEE 14 standard examples for example,the reliability of conversion is compared.The results show that the simulation results are basically the same,which verifies the correctness of the proposed transformation method.
