Design Of Rural Housing Transformation

Henan Province has a long history of farming culture,whose history of the farmers living environment has its own characteristics.A large number of rural architectures are not only important parts of agricultural cultural resources,but also cultural tourism resource.Almost every region has carried out a series of policy since the new country construction in China,such as the migration of villagers,the demolition of old villages,the replacement of farmland during the new villages ' building,which lacks of scientific guidance and supervision and brings out pressure to the environment subtly.The construction of new countryside has become the clones of urban housing,in which case,the firm and historical houses become the passage during the transition period.This situation causes the gradual abandonment of rural village customs and local-style dwelling characteristics,rather than the sustainable survival and development.The author takes the Caomiao village as the research object,which is located in Luoning County,Luoyang,Henan Province and admitted on the Chinese Traditional Village List in2013.It is found that the ecological environment of this village is beautiful,the regional culture of the farming culture is rich,and the traditional folk houses are primitive simplicity.But the residential houses are starting to decline due to the unadvanced architectural skills and incomplete functional equipment.The villagers move to Pogen and range their houses in rows,which makes the original village become empty.And for the shallow knowledge of their own characteristic,the original regional culture of this countryside is gradually being buried.With the simplification of economic mode the local peasants earn very little money.Given this,based on Organic Renewal Theory the author starts from the local residential renovation,involves in the local living environment with multiplex angle of view and rational means,and focus on the local techniques of construction,combines the regional culture,in order to explore the space value of traditional dwellings during the process of social development and the sustainable development of Caomiao village.
