With the decreasing of onshore petroleum resources and increasing of the demand of human towards energy,offshore engineering and equipment has become the key point of the national strategy of many countries.As the branch of shipbuilding industry,offshore engineering shares its common ground but at the same time,also has its own features.At present the center of entire offshore engineering industry has transferred from Europe to Asia,represented by Singapore,Japan and Korea and now are moving to China gradually.The offshore engineering industry has fast developed for over 20 years since launched in the 90s of last century.It has covered the range from shallow water to high-end deep-water equipment.This dissertation studies the manufacture industry of offshore engineering and discussing about the external environment and current situation and the existing problems.It provides solutions for the development of the industry by analyzing the influencing factor of the output of domestic offshore engineering enterprise.The emphasis of the dissertation is the position of domestic offshore business in international trade and commerce and the key factors that influence the output of these offshore enterprise.First of all,it studies the competitiveness of domestic offshore manufacturing industry.Secondly by collecting the data of staff structure,number of patents obtained and R&D investment as well as fixed assets investment of each company from 2006 to 2015 and analyzing their influence to the output,the author out the essential elements which affect the final performance.Finally,based on all the above analysis,this dissertation offers a proposal to domestic offshore companies regarding the promotion in manufacturing as well as the improvement in competitiveness.
