The Study On The Renewal Of Historic Districts From The Perspective Of Cultural Capital

With the increasingly fierce competition among cities,the promotion of culture to cities has become increasingly prominent and has become one of the core elements of regional competition.Due to the post-Fordism in the 80 s of the last century,the western countries with the transformation of the production structure are facing a large scale of inner city recession and industrialization.In order to cope with this kind of crisis,many cities have sprung up the strategy of cultural development.Culture has become a force to promote the rapid economic growth,pushing a large number of urban rehabilitation and urban renewal practice.In recent years,the strategy of new urbanization in China has shifted from the extension of the urban boundary to the focus of improving the urban space connotation,and began to explore the fine design and management of the urban space.The way that "land management" supports fiscal revenue to stimulate GDP growth can not adapt to the new development needs.Combining cultural capital and modern life production mode,the "cultural management",which drives the overall social and economic promotion,has become a new direction.As the most advanced city of urban renewal in China,Shenzhen urbanization has been highly completed.With the deepening of urban renewal,the value orientation of urban renewal has changed from the simple pursuit of the comprehensive maximization of the land economic benefits to the comprehensive development direction of the combination of social,cultural,historical,aesthetic,functional and other elements and attach great importance to the excavation of the connotation of all kinds of urban elements.Under the convergence of economic and technological level,local culture with relative uniqueness and scarcity has become the main factor in shaping urban features of a characteristic city and high quality of the city,making the city advantageous position in the homogeneous material space competition.More than that strengthening of the transformation is becoming more and more obvious.Based on the theory of cultural capital,this paper tries to explain how cultural capital act on urban space,further promote urban renewal,and the change process of historic district in urban renewal from the perspective of cultural capital.Secondly,it compares the main transformation methods of historic districts in terms of the urbanization process and other historic cities.Then,with the empirical case of " the conceptual design of the filial piety park in Shenzhen ",this paper analyzes the ways of transformation in the planning practice,and discusses the methods of protecting and extending historical blocks in urban renewal from the perspective of cultural capital.Finally,the article considers the necessity of historic blocks in the context of Shenzhen's urban planning.The possible problems brought about by the transformation of historic blocks with cultural capital as the main renewal power,further reflection on the value orientation of Shenzhen's urban renewal.
