With the development of computer simulation technology and vehicle dynamics theory and related algorithms,vehicle operation simulation technology based on real-time manipulation of data acquisition has been widely used in automobile product development,road traffic safety evaluation and driving training.Therefore,this technology is becoming more and more important for automobile manufacturers and related research organizations and it has important research significance.In this paper,firstly,appling directInput technology to the research on real-time collection of driving operation data based on simple driving simulator.Then,studying the real-time dynamic simulation technology of vehicle.Finally,developing a vehicle dynamic real-time simulation system based on Microsoft Visual C++ 6 software development platform.Studying the data transmission mode based on DirectInput technology,and designing a simple driver simulator interface program based on DirectInput interface object to realize the real-time acquisition and preservation of the driver's driving operation data.The vehicle systems which are directly related to the driving operation input,including the working characteristics of the steering system,the torque output characteristics of the engine,the clutch and the transmission,the braking torque output characteristic of the disc brake,are studied and the corresponding mathematical model and algorithm are set up.The vehicle dynamics model and its control strategy used for real time simulation are studied to determine the parameters transfer relationship between the subsystems.Through the analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the body,suspension systems,wheels,and the model of the Fiala tire,establishing the mathematical models of each subsystem,and finally obtaining the eleven degree of freedom vehicle dynamics based on the horizontal pavement.According to the driver's operating process under different driving conditions,the improved Eulerian method is used to solve the real-time simulation calculation program of vehicle operation,and the logic execution flow of the system is designed.According to the performance requirements of the system,developing a real-time simulation system for vehicle operation based on Microsoft Visual C++ 6 software platform.Designing the frame structure and human-machine interaction interface of the system,calculating the vehicle class including the member functions of each subsystem model,and perfecting the design process of simulation program.Finally,the simulation test of vehicle operation under the combined operating conditions which includes emergency braking condition proves that the simulation system developed in this paper can satisfy the expected function requirements.
