With the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce and express delivery business,the demand for air logistics in China's national economy is increasing.The international air cargo market is highly mature,while China's air cargo industry is still in its infancy.Foreign aviation logistics enterprises also accelerate the pace of development in China,and express companies have established their own airlines.China's air cargo industry is facing increasingly fierce competition.Domestic cargo airlines focus on providing airport-to-airport services,stacks of general cargo,single product structure,outstanding homogeneity problems,have very short service chain,and at the bottom of the profit curve of air transport smile curve.Therefore,the research on how to improve the quality of cargo operations,create a differentiated competitive advantage,enhance the competitiveness of cargo carriers,become the urgent need.This paper introduces the market environment of air freight business in China and the operation mode of freight carriers.Taking the cargo business of S Airlines as an example,uses Porter's five-force model,SWOT analysis,the long tail theory and Bertrand Model,and through the evaluation of domestic and foreign competitors' operation strategy and products,analyzes the problems existing in the cargo business of S Airlines,and looks for a breakthrough in the difficulty of operation.Finally,this paper pointed out that only by paying attention to the contribution of freight charters to the company's profit,focusing on the niche market,using Internet thinking to grasp the market opportunities of charter flights,and focusing on the field of goods transportation serving high value,can they be established in the international competition.
