With the advent of the era of experience economy,the level of mass consumption and consumption patterns are changing.The convenience of on-line shopping has shifted some traditional consumer economy to e-commerce platform,and the real business is affected accordingly.However,people are no longer just satisfied with the consumption,but also the spiritual consumption.The typical representative of this kind of spiritual consumption is experiential consumption.Nowadays,more and more consumers are actively advocating experiential consumption.As the shopping center bears the responsibility of the public to exchange information and entertainment,the construction of the new shopping center will consider the social,economic,cultural and environmental aspects of the city,in order to show new forms and fresh vitality.This article first chapter is introduction,mainly elaborates research background,research significance,research methods and content,as well as those analyses of related research status both at home and abroad,and on the basis of sorting out the paper structure,establish research purposes.The second chapter first expounds related theory,summarized experience consumption mode shopping center development and business characteristics,to define of shopping center ‘outer space',and classify the layout form.The third chapter analyzes and summarizes the scale,interface and sequence of shopping center ‘outer space' based on the theory of external space.The fourth chapter is the most important chapter of this article,as analyzing Tianhe business circle-Victoria square,ZhengJia square,Wan Ling Hui,and TianHuan square shopping center,from the perspective of planning and layout,space types,landscape environment analysis of the ‘outer space' design methods,sums up the space characteristics.The fifth chapter firstly put forward the design principle of shopping center,experience consumption mode and the design content,then with the corresponding design strategy which is discussing the urban skin texture,spatial location,landscape environment,function forms and theme design.The sixth chapter is the summary of this paper and the prospect of the outer place design in the future.
