With the increasing emphasis on EMU technology,universities and companies involved in rail transit at home and abroad are progressively increasing their investment on research and development.This paper proposed a design for a kind of MVB-based experimental platform for the train network,which can be used to simulate the transmission of process data in the MVB and can simulate the operation of the train controlling and the real-time monitoring coordinate with the electric traction a electrical brake experimental system.This paper first summarizes the research of train network control technology,analyzes the characteristics and development trend of train network control technology,introduces the basic principle of multi-function vehicle bus MVB and RS485 communication protocol in detail based on TCN standard.Secondly the hardware architecture of experimental platform is described in detail,including the GW,VCU and HMI.Finally,we introduce the design process of VCU,the GW and HMI systematically from the architecture of the platform and the design of the monitoring interface.This paper also has completed the software debugging and system function testing.It achieves the traction brake control unit operation control,real-time status display and other predetermined functions.The test bed is connected by the serial line and gateway with the electric traction and electric brake experiment system composed of the asynchronous motor,which ensures the high efficiency and safety of the communication between the two control systems.The final experiment results illustrate that theplatform based on MVB bus is stable and can meet the needs of scientific research and experiment.
