As the switching center between the waterway and the land transportation,the port is more likely to be the growth pole of a city or area,so the government input more resource into the building and development of the port.Now,many port economic has become the support of the development of the cities.There are three major influence factors that decide the development level of the port,such as hinterland economic,geographical condition and the collecting and distributing system.Now the economics of China have stepped in the “new normal”,the development of the ports have become more competitive,many ports strength the relationship between the hinterland and the port and improve the mechanical equipment to enhance their competitiveness,however,they do not pay enough attention in the development of the collecting and distributing system.we study the level of the collecting and distributing system of the port,and take the example of the Wuhan New Port container' collecting and distributing system,and study the adaptation between the port and the collecting and distributing system.At last,we propose some advice to improve the collecting and distributing system to enhance the competitiveness of the port.In this article,we study the container's collecting and distributing system of Wuhan New Port in several kinds of aspect,and give some operational advice.Primarily,we analyze the trend of the container in Wuhan New Port in future and study the characteristic of the collecting and distributing system and its problem.Then,we make a prediction,with the consideration of the advantage in geographical condition,infrastructure,economic of the hinterland,transportation condition and policy.Then we build a traffic mode split model for container's collecting and distributing system of Wuhan New Port based on the generalized cost,and figure out the optimal structure of the Wuhan New Port's container-collecting and distributing system with the volume and distance of each OD pair.Forth,we build a adaptability analysis index system,and study the adaptability of highway,waterway and railway container-collecting and distributing system of the Wuhan New Port.Fifth,according each characteristic of the three collecting and distributing ways,we make research on the highway collecting and distributing system with the time reliability,service level reliability and smooth reliability.Eventually,we propose a project that upgrading the road,improving the structure of the network,developing the railway-highway combination transportation and improving the navigation capacity of waterway between the Wuhan and Anqing.
