The Research On Facilities Optimal Allocation Of The Collecting And Distributing System In Xi’an Railway Hub

With the accomplishment of the passenger dedicated lines, the capacity of older railway lines will be released gradually, railway freight develops towards the direction of centralization and logistics as a whole, while the current capacity resource layout and facilities allocation of China’s railway hub are difficult to meet the demand of the growth of traffic volume and the freight development. In this context, This paper takes Xi’an railway hub as the research object, carries out detailed research on facilities optimal allocation of the collecting and distributing system in Xi’an railway hub, this will have very important significance for perfecting hub capacity resource distribution, improving transport capacity and efficiency, adapting to the development of modern logistics and meeting the needs of the market.This paper first introduces the basic present situation of the hub and the status of the existing equipment, and analyzes the existing problems and the overall layout planning of Xi’an railway hub. Secondly, analyzes the capacity situation of Xi’an hub from the capacity adaptability of existing lines and the operation capacity of marshalling station in detail, and puts forward a series improving measures for strengthening capacity according to the main existing problems of the line and marshalling station. Next studies the freight system of Xi’an railway hub, analyses the freight equipment and freight volume of the hub, and the main weak links existing in the current freight system, and puts forward some measures for perfecting the hub freight yard layout. And then studies the modern logistics development of Xi’an railway hub, expounds the significance of developing railway logistics center, points out the trend and problems in the development of the rail freight logistics, and analyses the logistics planning of Xi’an railway hub. Finally, studies the layout optimization of the freight yards in Xi’an railway hub, establishes the mathematical model to solve the location problem of the comprehensive freight yards, and gets the layout optimization scheme of the freight station in Xi’an railway hub, it has a certain reference value for the actual site selection and layout.
