With the rapid development of education in our country,the phenomenon that the resource of high schools concentrate in certain districts has become more and more significant,and the college town has become the location of the mainstream university new campus.On the one hand,traditional campus planners are less concerned with the creation of campus thermal environments during the planning period.On the other hand,the campus thermal environment has a strong regularity due to the regular teaching and living activities of teachers and students in the school.If the campus planning is unreasonable,it will lead to poor thermal environment,thus affecting the outdoor thermal comfort as well as causing unnecessary waste of energy.Therefore,this study aims to fully evaluate the characteristics of campus thermal environment in university campuses through field measurement and numerical simulation.It also grasps the temperature distribution and air-flow organization in the campus core area and proposes corresponding improvement measures for the future campus planning.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,a series of previous research results and methods are summarized systematically.For the new campus of a college town in Chongqing,the research method of combining field measurement and CFD simulation was used,and the corresponding thermal environment evaluation standards were displayed.The basic equations,control equations and solution methods for CFD simulation of outdoor thermal environment were given.Secondly,this study measured and analyzed the thermal environment of a college town in Chongqing.A total of 9 flow observation points,a fixed observation point were set for field measurement.Thermal environment parameters including temperature,humidity,wind speed,black wet bulb temperature were recorded continuously.The campus will be classified and discussed according to the teaching function and the type of underlying surface,and the changing law will be derived to provide data support for the field measurement research of the campus thermal environment.Based on the basic data of road traffic volume,air consumption,and classification power consumption,the statistical calculations of man-made heat emissions in campus were compiled.Thirdly,the campus space model was established.The measured data was used as a boundary condition.PHOENICS simulation software was used to simulate the campus thermal environment.Compare the simulation results with the measured data to verify the model.Based on the simulation results,the distribution characteristics of the air temperature and the wind field inside the campus were summarized,and the existing thermal environment problems on the campus were discovered.Finally,according to the problems existing in the thermal environment of the campus,the analysis results of field measurement and simulation are used as the judgment basis.According to the existing problems of the campus thermal environment,optimization schemes to improve the thermal environment of campus are proposed.Through the simulation analysis of this optimal scheme and the two comparing schemes,the expected effects of each scheme are obtained.Based on this,the optimal proposal is proposed.This proposal could guide the improvement and construction of the campus thermal environment.
