Hook-lift garbage truck is a kind of special environmental sanitation vehicle which can self-load and unload garbage container and dump garbage.Its main structural components include hook-lift arm device,automobile chassis,and garbage container.Owing to its simple structure,it has high efficiency and wide applicability.And one garbage car can match a number of garbage containers.With the rapid increase of solid waste produced in cities,the market requirement for hook-lift garbage trucks is ever increasing.In order to improve the standard of design and the performance of the hook-lift loading devices and shorten the design cycle,the paper developed the Hook-lift mathematical model and virtual ADAMS model,using the modern design theory and method of structure optimization to design hook-lift mechanism;And doing the test of hydraulic system,then optimize the hydraulic system according to the test results and problems of hydraulic system during working.First,the mathematical model and ADAMS virtual model of the vehicles for the loading and dumping conditions was formulated.The load changes in the two typical working conditions are obtained by solving the model.Meanwhile,the three-dimensional finite element model for the hook-lift arm device is established by ANSYS Workbench,and the maximum load obtained from the previous solution is directly loaded onto the three-dimensional finite element model,and the structural analysis is carried out.Through the analysis of three dimensional finite element model,the stress and strain distribution of all important parts of the hook-lift arm device in different working conditions are obtained.Then,by using the parameterized finite element model,taking the quality of the hook-lift arm device as the optimization objective,taking the thickness of the steel plate as the design variable and the strength of the steel plate as the constraint condition,the structural optimization design of the hook-lift arm device is carried out.Finally,according to the maximum load obtained in the solution and the defects of the hydraulic system,we determine the optimal hydraulic components and increase functions,optimize the working process of the hydraulic system and improve the efficiency and reliability of the whole operation.
