Study On The Reliability Improvement Of Cable Equipment Based On Lean Production

The power supply industry is the basic industry that has a direct impact on national economy and the people's livelihood.With the development of market economy and the deepening reform of electricity system,the monopoly of power supply enterprises has been gone with higher demands from power consumers.Faced with increasing competitive pressures and social concerns,the power supply enterprises are in a position to continuously update their business concepts as the external environments change and the new goals of business profits emerge internally.With the D Administration of Power Supply as an example,this paper first comes to introduce the basic theories of lean production.Next,the background information of lean production by D is elaborated,and the improvement in D's operations management of main power grid cable equipment acts as the main point of analysis.By analyzing the current situations of D and taking the perspective of customers,the key concern of electricity users is located – the reliability of power supply.Therefore,lean production tools are integrated with the research approach of PDCA cycle to outline value flows that recognize waste.It is found out that D's maintenance for the power outage of main power grid cables is the cause behind unstable power supplies,so corrective measures should be gradually implemented to improve the reliability of power grid.Eventually,the effect of lean improvement is demonstrated by the fact that D successfully improved the power supply reliability of cable equipment through lean production.To sum up,the practical applications of lean production proves the viability of lean production theories in power supply enterprises.Specifically speaking,the management system plays a fundamental role in the implementation of lean production theories,and the operations management can be effectively enhanced by reorganizing and transforming the internal management process,making positive changes internally to fit into the external changes at the electricity market.
