Study On The Exterior Space Element Constitution And Optimization Strategy Of The Open Residential Area In Shenzhen

In view of the series of problems caused by the closed residential mode in China,the concept and practice of opening residential district have become the focus of attention in recent years.The open type residential area not only changed the living mode of the traditional gated residential area,but also exerted a great influence on the development of urban space.As an important carrier of daily activities of residents as well as the interactive connection with urban area,the outer space of the residential area can reflect the core value of the resources sharing between the opening residential area and urban area.Under this background,it is of a certain theoretical and practical significance to build the research framework for the system elements of an opening residential district's external space,and explore the related practice and propose design s trategy in Shenzhen,which leads the domestic residential construction.It is more targeted and operable to study the external space system of opening residential area from the element aspect.In the basic elements of the exterior space of the residential area,the factors affecting the openness of the residential area are the core elements.Based on the related practical cases at home and abroad and all kinds of research in design guidelines,core elements can be summarized and refined into seven types,in cluding the traffic network structure,life branch,block scale,closed unit,space layout,boundary form and business composition.The opening residential communities in Shenzhen are mainly divided into neighborhood residential type,mixed residential typ e,and block residential type.This study,respectively taking these three typical opening settlements as research objects,conducted a survey on the features and current situation of the core elements of each residential type's outer space.Through field investigation and analysis of the questionnaire results,exterior space elements of the opening residential area manifest advantages and characteristics such as proper scale and size,the integration with urban space system,opening pattern,and providing a variety of space requirements.However,there are also problems such as deficiencies in accessibility and security of traffic network structure,lack of integrity and hierarchy in space layout,as well as the space and facilities in poor quality.The main causes include the lag of settlements theory and design specification in our country,and the different needs and thinking limitations of residents,designers,developers and other groups.The exterior space optimization strategy of Shenzhen opening resi dential area takes the core elements as the main target of optimization.Combined with the design method reflecting openness in the practice of Shenzhen residential areas,and in view of the specific problems of the current situation,this study puts forward the following optimization strategies: improving the security and the accessibility of traffic network structure,setting up reasonable closed unit and block scale,improving the function and continuity of life branches,elevating the functional quality of external space,and enabling space layout display integrity and hierarchy,and the industrial formats achieve diversity.
