With the continuous development of rail transit equipment manufacturing industry and the continuous improvement of domestic railway mileage and the increasing degree of electrified railways,the demand for electric locomotives from customers is also high.Company currently has the capacity to produce 500 locomotives of various types each year,with the relocation of the plant.To ensure the production efficiency and production capacity of electric locomotive products and reduce production costs,a total flow assembly production line that can achieve punctual production is very important for manufacturing enterprises.This article makes use of industrial engineering related knowledge theory to conduct in-depth research on the assembly workshop of electric locomotives and analyzes the process layout of electric rolling stock assembly lines in the following aspects.The main research contents are as follows:First,analyze the problems such as the long transportation route and excessive logistics equivalent in the material handling of the flow assembly workshop used in the assembly shop of the current company,and use related technologies to optimize and propose improvement suggestions.Then,the assembly line was designed according to the actual situation of the electric locomotive assembly plant.The first type of assembly line balance theory and particle swarm optimization algorithm are used to calculate the production beat of the electric locomotive assembly plant and the minimum number of stations At the same time.Build a mathematical model.Finally,process division was performed using a particle swarm algorithm for the representative models of the process to ensure that each workstation was under production beats and promote smooth production.At last,using Plant Simulation software to simulate and analyze the completed assembly line to verify whether the design is reasonable.This paper investigates electric locomotive and vehicle assembly process layout by comprehensively using related theoretical knowledge.For the currently used flow assembly model,it optimized the existing problems in the material carrying of the current electric locomotive assembly plant and shortens the carrying distance of existing materials carrying methods.And based on the original electric locomotive assembly workshop,the new electric locomotive assembly workshop process layout is designed and optimized to ensure the assembly line production capacity and balance rate,and a relatively reasonable layout plan can be applied,which provides the required related researches of manufacturing enterprises with relevant theoretical guidance and the value of practical references.
