The performance test device for household refrigerators is a test device for measuring the power consumption of household refrigerators. It is composed of three measuring systems. It has been widely used in refrigerators manufacturing industry and energy efficiency laboratories of quality inspection units. In view of the aging of its components and the decrease of measuring equipment precision of the testing system, the laboratory needs to carry out regular testing and calibration. In 2015,the new energy efficiency grade standard for household refrigerators was put forward, which raised the industry threshold for refrigerator manufacturers. In the process of quality control and product development of household refrigerators, the performance testing device for household refrigerators has become an important tool for evaluating the performance of refrigerators and for testing and arbitrating by national quality inspection units. The consistency and effectiveness of calibration of the test device put forward new requirements. The aim of this study is to analyze the principle and calibration method of each measuring system of the performance test device for household refrigerators from a systematic point of view, and then to calibrate the measuring system in the laboratory by using the calibration method of integral measurement, and to test the energy consumption of refrigerators in the calibrated laboratory,so as to calibrate the household refrigerators. The performance test device method provides data reference. After calibration, the laboratory carries out the repeatability test of power consumption, gives the evaluation process of measurement uncertainty, and analyzes the important factors affecting the test results.
