In recent years,the concept of smart substations is no longer unfamiliar to relay protection workers.China has fully entered the period of substation construction with digital communication.Smart substation adopts advanced,reliable,integrated,low-carbon,and environment-friendly smart devices.It takes the digitization of the entire station information,the networking of communication platforms,and the standardization of information sharing as the basic requirements.It automatically completes information collection,measurement,control,protection,measurement,and monitoring.Basic functions,and can support substations with advanced functions such as real-time power grid automatic control,intelligent adjustment,on-line analysis and decision-making,and cooperative interaction.The paper investigates the development status of smart substations,studies the differences between smart substations and traditional substations,the differences between smart substation secondary equipments and conventional secondary protection equipments,analyzes the development requirements of the interface software for stability control devices installed in smart substations,and proposes interfaces.A complete program for software development and testing,and an application of the smart station stability control device to the 500 kV Xinduqiao substation in Sichuan Province was described.First of all,the status quo of smart substations was studied,including basic components,primary equipment,and models.The differences between smart substations and conventional substation primary and secondary equipments,especially the stability control devices,were compared,and the stability control devices played in the grid were described.The role of the intelligent substation stability control device is derived.Secondly,for the stability control device applied to the smart substation,the development of the interface program software and the design of the configuration file are required.The interface between the stability control device and the merging unit was introduced.The Sample Value program development and configuration file design was performed.The development of the GOOSE program and the configuration file were designed for the interface with the smart terminal.The monitoring program was performed for the interface with the MMS network.Development and configuration file design.At the same time,due to the limitations of the smart station's stability control test conditions under the current technology level,a complete development program for test tools is proposed.After that,the stability control device was applied to the Sichuan 500 kV Xinduqiao intelligent substation.The hardware platform and key plug-in for the stability control device,the Sample Value method for the Xinduqiao smart station stability control device,and the Xinduqiao smart station stability control device were introduced.The GOOSE subscription and release model,the connection method of the Xinduqiao intelligent station control device monitoring back-end and the MMS network were introduced,and the grid system protection function implemented by the Xinduqiao smart station stability control device was explained.Finally,due to the important role of the smart station stability control device on the protection of the power grid system,the test objectives of the smart station stability control device were described,and the test content of the smart station stability control device was described and applied to the Xinduqiao intelligent station.The stability control device has launched detailed tests on the interface and stability control functions.
