The progress of science and technology is constantly changing the way of sailing.Dynamic information service,as the basic guarantee for the safety of ship navigation,is an important part of e-Navigation.Depth is an important factor in safe navigation.Ships controlled navigable depth through combining chart depth with tide table in sailing.Traditional static depth service mode and application can no longer meet the dynamic information service demands of ship users.This paper focuses on high resolution dynamic depth model and services,especially on several key issues.According to the problem of low depth model resolution,this paper designed a dynamic depth model based on FVCOM and residual water level correction,and based on chart depth,achieved high-precision instantaneous water depth solution service.As ships have an increased demand for MSPs related to navigational safety and security,this paper through the study of e-Navigation technology and MSP development rules,respectively designed based on e-Navigation high precision dynamic water level service architecture and based on e-Navigation high precision dynamic water level shore-based service architecture,form a high precision dynamic water level service,which can be uesd as a part of MSP 15.In order to achieve personalized customization service,this paper proposes a high-precision dynamic water depth intelligent service model for user needs,which analyzes and models information domain and data domain respectively,and uses ASM and XML standard format for information exchange.At the end,this paper gives a future direction about where eNavigation high precision dynamic water depth service is going.The experiment results show that this method satisfied the requirements of tide table’s forecast accuracy and IHO S-44 depth accuracy.Moreover,this method modified the traditional water depth application mode and improved system operability.Finally,combined with the e-Navigation and MSP development rules,this method achieved dynamic depth services that conform to the e-Navigation standards proposed by IMO,IHO and other international organizations.
