Since 21th century,a set of 300mm high arch dams has been built up,including Xiaowan,Jinping I,Xiluodu,Laxiwa,and so on.During the construction process of these engineering,different schedule control measures,such as adding pouring machinery,improving the thickness of pouring layer,turning the joint grouting under low or normal temperature into whole year joint grouting,have been taken to overcome the contradiction between pouring process and cantilever height control.However,different schedule control measures need different extra project investment,which leads to different effect on quality control and pouring schedule.Therefore,it is the common and key issue for construction schedule control of high arch dams to select suitable schedule control measures combining with construction characteristics at different stages.Based on the experience conclusions of large hydropower projects construction in China and the pouring characteristics analysis of high arch dams,a real-time construction control method of high arch dams has been proposed applying multiple criteria decision making.This method has been used in practical construction of some high arch dam and the main conclusions are marked as below:(1)The theories of system simulation and discrete event system simulation are used in the construction manage of high arch dams.The main controlling units and key technical issues of construction simulation and real-time quality control have been analyzed in the construction of high arch dams.Under the comprehensively considerations of main control rules and constraint conditions,the system theory and method for real-time construction control of high arch dams are suggested with the standards of construction schedule control.Based on the mathematical logical models of dynamic construction simulation,real-time construction control flow is put forward to build the theoretic foundation of high arch dams.(2)According to the dynamic concrete pouring simulation of high arch dams,a evaluation method of concrete pouring scheme of high arch dams has been proposed based on multiple criteria decision making.Different construction schemes are simulated with real-time control system.The comprehensive evaluation and optimization of different construction schemes are conducted with intuitionisticanalytic hierarchy process and intuition fuzzy TOPSIS method.Therefore,some measures and suggestions have been advised to improve the construction schedule of high arch dams,which provide the theoretical foundation in practical engineering.(3)Combining with the dynamic construction simulation of high arch dams,some simulation schemes have been calculated for a water control project in terms of the cantilever control height,pouring layer thickness,cooling zone number and cable machine number.The results are evaluated with two different methods of multicriteria decision making.Then,some effective suggestions are given to accelerate the construction schedule,providing valid technical support for practical construction.
