With the development of information and intelligent technology,the demand for information and intelligence is becoming higher and higher in the manufacturing enterprises.In order to achieve the intelligent manufacturing and intelligent factory,it is the foundation for the production equipment to acquire the running state data.Therefore,according to the demand of intelligent factory,it is greatly significant for the construction of intelligent manufacturing system to research and develop a data acquisition and remote monitoring technology of the production equipment.According to the demand of intelligent factory in discrete manufacturing industry,this paper studies and develops the data acquisition and remote monitoring system for the running state of production equipment.Firstly,the demand and general framework of data acquisition and remote monitoring system are analyzed and established for intelligent factory in discrete manufacturing industry,respectively.On this basis,the status data acquisition technology for three kinds of typical equipment,e.g.the PLC control equipment,NC machine tool and video monitoring system in discrete manufacturing workshop,is then studied,and the corresponding database of equipment data acquisition and remote monitoring system is also designed.Moreover,the communication method between data acquisition,server and client is studied,and a prototype system of data acquisition and remote monitoring for production equipment is also developed.Finally,the intelligent workshop experiment system,composed of five-axis linkage NC machine tool with Siemens 840 D CNC system,Siemens PLC automatic control equipment and video monitoring system,is used to verify the prototype system of data acquisition and remote monitoring.The experimental results show that the three kinds of equipment can accurately ensure the data acquisition and remote monitoring of the running state,and thus validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Therefore,the research work in this paper provides a feasible method for data acquisition and remote monitoring of production equipment in discrete manufacturing enterprises.
