Research On The Construction Of National Forest City In Xi’an City

The rapid development of high-tech modernization has greatly enriched the material and spiritual civilization of mankind.However,the acceleration of urbanization in the world and the aggravation of environmental pollution have increasingly threatened human physical and mental health,as well as the living environment.Speeding up the green planting and changing the ecology is an imminent event for mankind at present.Therefore,like other countries and cities,city has also made great efforts to create a national Forest City for urban development.In September of 2016,after more than three years of joint efforts by the people of the city,Xi ’ an accomplished the goal,marking a new level of urban development.Basing on the research situation of forest cities at home and abroad and the concepts of Forest City,this paper analyzes the theoretical basis of forest science theory,aesthetics theory,ecological theory,biodiversity theory and sustainable development theory,researches the Forest City’s ecological benefits which include improving microclimate,purifying air,reducing sound and noise,wind and sand fixation,water conservation,protection and promotion of biodiversity and social function of promoting the development of cultural education,enhancing urban landscape leisure,beautifying the environment,as well as economic benefits of producing economies of scale,investment economies,technologies,knowledge and talents.Secondly,it analyzes the natural and ecological conditions of the establishment of forest cities in Xi ’ An,discusses the planning of the establishment of forest cities,and expounds in detail the ways and methods of establishing forest cities:In the urban area,the forest belt construction such as three Ring Road Forest belt,happy Forest belt,Zhu Hong Road Forest belt,Daqing forest belt,the parks construction such as Wenjingshan Park,Qingliang Mountain Park,Yu River Wetland Park,the road plaza construction such as Labor South Road,Taoyuan Road,Rosefinch Road,Xincheng Square,Drum Tower Square,all three can improve urban greening coverage.In the suburbs,wetland construction and restoration,Green Corridor project,urban water conservation source,Taiwan source slope greening project and other methods can achieve forest City construction.In the countryside,the walnut garden,kiwi Garden,grape base and other fruit industry construction,seeding industry development,beautiful rural construction and other methods can devolope the Rural ecological pattern of “ The village is in the forest,the garden is in the green,the people are in the scene ”.Thirdly,the paper expounds the achievements of the establishment of Forest City in Xi ’ an city: The Urban forest cover,the new afforestation area,the urban greening coverage and the per capita park green space,tree species coverage,economic forest area and so on have been and greatly improved.Then it analyzes the main problems existing in the development of Forest City in Xi ’ an city: The hierarchical structure of urban forest is relatively single,the number of common tree species is small,the application of local wild tree species and native tree species is insufficient,the urban forest construction is uneven,the aesthetic effect of urban forest is poor,and the degree of forest landscape fragmentation is high and so on.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the healthy development of forest cities in Xi ’ an: To improve the landscape pattern of urban forests by strengthening urban forest landscape planning,maintaining the balanced development of construction scale and ecological protection,strengthening conservation management and improving the utilization rate of woodland;To create forest urban agglomerations by adopting ecological measures,meeting the working life of residents,promoting social development work;Pay attention to biodiversity and give effect to ecological effects,Strengthen publicity efforts and raise public awareness,Increase capital investment and build an ecologically livable city.This paper puts forward three development directions for the establishment of National Forest cities in XI ’ an: the design and conservation of near nature,the development of three-dimensional greening,the increase of urban forest space,and the implementation of domestic and international cooperation.
