As the function of engine management system(EMS)being improved,engine control technology is also becoming more and more complex.The disadvantages of traditional test method of the EMS are being gradually revealed.The hardware-in-the-loop(HIL)simulation technology has changed the traditional development methods of EMS,and has provided a convenient way for the development and testing of engine control system.Currently,the EMS development and testing is mainly based on the real vehicle test.However,the real vehicle test has high cost and long cycle,and is vulnerable to external conditions.Blindly real vehicle tests may also cause security problems.EMS HIL test can simulate almost all the conditions required for the real vehicle test scenarios.The pre-test in these simulated conditions can not only ensure the smooth of road test,but also reduce the real vehicle tests frequency,achieving shorter development cycle and lower costs.This thesis relies on EMS HIL test item.It summarizes the specific method of EMS HIL test,and gives the description of this method,including engine system modeling and software and hardware platform design.This thesis has also evaluated the accuracy and feasibility of the EMS HIL simulation test system by some related simulation test results.This thesis research work is carried out in the following areas:(1)Carry out an analysis of the development process of automotive engine management system.Give the outlines of EMS work principle and features.(2)Plan the overall design of the EMS HIL system structure based on the requirement analysis and system design objective,and set up the framework of EMS HIL test system.(3)Introduce each part of engine system model and sensor model,gather these models,and do off-line simulation test on the model.(4)Use dSPACE hardware and software tools to establish the EMS HIL system hardware platform and PC monitoring system.(5)Examine the EMS HIL system to prove the veracity and reliability of the EMS HIL simulation test system.
