| With the rapid development of China’s economy,highway transport plays an more important role in the transportation system,the traffic volume rising with increasing tasks and passenger volume.As a kind of management method which can balance the operation efficiency and safety of the highway,raising highway speed has been widely used in many countrys.This article analyses high speed driving on the current China highway traffic situation that generally can not reach the high driving speed,unreasonable speed standard and more traffic accidents.In consideration of current highway speed management in China,the article will exploe effective management strategies and methods of speed which would reach a good balance between motorization and traffic safety.Analysis and Research on the method of raising the speed and the speed of the expressway in our country mainly include the following contents:(1)This article analyses and does the research on the design speed,expected speed,running speed and limit speed,and put forward the idea of setting up the standard of raising speed which based on the actual running speed of the vehicle.(2)It is difficult to quantify the characteristics of some indicators when determining the speed value so that it infers related factors of determining speed which combined with the relevant specifications.And combined with the line characteristics of The Beijing and Hong Kong &Macao Expressway,according to the speed difference,accident death rate,operation efficiency and speed expectation of the drivers as the evaluation index to evaluate possible scheme and determine the maximum safe speed.(3)It points out that raising speed with identifying the type of lanes and vehicle has high feasibility and better effect,which can effectively improve the efficiency and safety of expressway,and suitable for application in highway of our country.(4)Analysis about economic benefits which may caused by raising highway speed.Using questionnaire survey in different fields and evaluating social benefits of raising highway speed quantitatively,it finally points out the social benefit of raising highway speed is more obvious and is of great significance to raise speed.(5)In this paper,a simulation model of the collision between the vehicle and the guardrail at different speeds is initiated.Through the comparison of the guardrail simulation test results,it finds that the vehicle in the process of collision of the old guard rail with the increase of the speed of the effective barrier to the emergence of the phenomenon of riding across the fence,the column of the vehicle caused a drag effect.It can be found the maximum displacement of the fence and the summit of the vehicle can meet the new requirements of the new specifications at the speed of 130km/h.Through the research and analysis of this paper,combined with the current status of China’s highway,the highway can be divided on lanes and types of vehicles in order to raise speed up to 130km/h and that can be the certain reference for the drafting and research of the criterion in the future. |
