Modern engineering projects have the characteristics of large scale,complex technology,many parties involved,and tight schedules.It has new requirements for collaborative management at the construction stage.BIM technology is an important solution to solve the collaborative problems in construction process.But the application of BIM in the construction stage is limited to a single application,and the cooperation among the participants is poor,construction managers cannot perform real-time control of the process and real-time visualization of collaborative optimization.To solve these problems,the combination of computational steering and BIM is used for collaborative management in the construction phase,the collaborative management methods combined with computational steering can realise real-time visualization and dynamic control of the computational simulation process.(1)The combination of computational steering and BIM in collaborative management of construction is very valuable,useing BIM,engineering collaborative management and multiobjective optimization theory,a multi-objective optimization model based on IFC is established,and a algorithm combined computational steering,co-evolutionary and BIM is designed to calculate this model.A collaborative management model for the construction phase was constructed to integrate the multi-objective optimization process and the collaborative work process.(2)According to the data requirements of the construction collaborative model,a similar data warehouse model is used to construct BIM spatial database,and the octree algorithm is used to segment the BIM model and establish a spatial index so that the BIM database has the ability of spatial query.The establishment of the spatial index based on octree will also improve the fine management level of the construction phase.(3)A BIM collaborative management platform is builded to integrate the construction collaboration model,BIM spatial database,and the collaborative workflows of various stakeholders.And the local client part of the collaborative management platform is developed.A case study is used to verify the feasibility of collaborative models.Finally,a construction collaborative management implementation scheme and the workflow of the system was put forward.The construction collaborative model can effectively realize the collaborative work among participants,the collaborative optimization for multiple objectives,and the real-time visualization and real-time control of the process.New ideas and methods were provided for collaborative management of information construction.The practical application level of BIM in the construction phase will be increased and it will provide a new development idea for BIM software developers.
