On The Application Of BIM-Based Lean Management Model In PC Building Project

The promotion of building industrialization makes traditional way of project management and construction technology no longer meet the demand of modern construction industry development.Precast concrete(PC)building,which is built with precast unit,has the advantage energy saving,environmental protection,and shortening project cycle.PC building can meet the requirements of the development of modern construction.This paper examines the application of lean management model based on Building Information Modelling(BIM)in the process of PC building project construction.Firstly,this paper states the concepts and theories of PC building,BIM,and lean management thinking.Finds the correspondences of BIM and lean thinking through the analysis of lean management theory and the summary and analysis of BIM important connotation and core functions.Explores the feasibility of the application of BIM with lean management mode.Secondly,the informatization of project management is the basis of the implementation lean management for PC building.With the correspondences of BIM and lean thinking,analyses the process of informatization of PC building lean management from the information integration,information standardization and information application,while building the information-based platform framework.Then,with the framework before,the process of PC building has been divided into four phases: Project Design Phase,Component Production Phase,Construction Phase and Operation Maintenance Phase,and analyses the running of lean management of PC project in life-cycle systematically in those four phases.Finally,a case study is given for the analysis of application of lean management based on BIM for PC building.According to the results of the study and case analysis,proposes the construction challenges in the process of PC building lean management,and gives the advice.This paper combines BIM and lean management for application,divides PC building project into four phases,states the running mode in lifecycle of PC buildinglean management,sums up the process of PC building lean management.Significance are shown in both reality and theory:(1)Promotes the use of BIM technology,and indicates the thinking of how to use the software related to BIM;(2)Four phases in the process of PC building has been divided,helps to optimize PC building project management process;(3)With the lean thinking,states the running mode of PC building lean management,indicates the direction of the development of the industry and the reformation of the project management.
