With the rapid development of the city and deepening of the urbanization,the urban traffic arteries' capacity cannot catch up with the rising traffic volume due to the bottlenecks of the nodes.Meanwhile,the conventional road widening is hugely expensive and difficult to meet the expectation thanks to the dense buildings on the two sides of the street;thus a more rational design plan is needed to improve the traffic capacity of the existing roads.This thesis has studied the speedy reconstruction of Guangzhou Avenue in the section from Jinsui Road to North of the Luoxi Bridge based on the analysis of the project conditions.The paper has brought forward a scheme for the rapid reconstruction of the road through the predictive analysis of the short-term and long-term traffic demand of Guangzhou Avenue to address the existing problems.The paper's main researches are the following:1.Analyzed the geological data of the project and collected the data of the geographical environment,geological conditions,current road conditions,surface features along the avenue,and transportation conditions in the project area as the primary date for the research on the rapid reconstruction project.2.Provided basis for the quick reconstruction scheme through the prediction of the short-term and long-term traffic volume of the project road.3.Proposed corresponding speedy reconstruction schemes to addressing existing problems for different reconstruction objects alongside the avenue.The thesis has improved the reconstruction schemes through comparison of the plans for reconstruction objects at the critical nodes according to the actual situation.4.Provided traffic organization solutions enabled at least six-lane traffic during the reconstruction to minimize the impact on the current transportation.Through the predictive analysis of the traffic demand and subjected to relevant specifications,the thesis has presented and selected by comparison the speedy reconstruction schemes to address the problems existing in five typical cross-nodes such as the cross-node of Jinhui Road and Xin Ma section of Shi You Road,Ke Cun overpass node,overpass node near the government buildings of the Haizhu District,and the overpass node of the Nanzhou North Road in accordance with current conditions and actual demands.The paper has also proposed detailed traffic organization design during the construction period according to node reconstruction schemes to ensure the safe and smooth road passage.
