Electromagnetic mechanism is the core component of most electrical apparatus.Its performance is directly related to the reliable work of electrical apparatus.As a kind of electromagnetic mechanism,solenoid electromagnet is widely used.In this paper,instead of the circuit breakers in the traditional automatic transfer switch,The solenoid electromagnet in the electromechanical integration automatic transfer switch drives contact system to finish transferring to achieve continuous power supply.Firstly,the structure of the solenoid electromagnet in the automatic transfer switch is designed preliminarily.The counterforce characteristics of the solenoid electromagnet is analyzed deeply.The structure type is determined with the static suction characteristics.The structural parameters of the solenoid electromagnet are calculated and the structural design is completed.Secondly,the simulation method and the optimization method of the solenoid electromagnet is researched on.The finite element model of the solenoid electromagnet is established by using of ANSOFT.The static characteristic simulation is carried out.According to the static simulation results,The static suction of the solenoid pole,the solenoid force and the distribution of the magnetic field intensity are analyzed.The exciting winding turns,the radius of moving core and the thickness of yoke are optimized by orthogonal optimization method,and the optimization results are compared.Then,the static suction test method of the electromagnet is studied on and the tester is developed.In order to meet the design requirements of solenoid electromagnet,the tester consists of mounting base,control module,drive module and test module.The software of controller of the motor is designed.The automatic measurement of the static suction under different air gap is achieved to improve the measurement precision and the measurement range.Finally,the solenoid electromagnet prototype is developed and the static suction test system is set up.The static suction is tested in different voltage and different air gap.The test results show that the simulation is correct and the designed solenoid electromagnet can meet the index requirements.
