Failure Analysis And Reliability Study Of Rotary Air Conditioning Compressor

With the improvement of people’s quality of life,consumers are demanding higher and higher quality of air conditioners.Compressor as the most core component of air conditioner,most attention.Because of its simple structure,small volume,light weight,good balance and high efficiency,rotary compressor is widely used in domestic air conditioners.Once the rotary compressor fails to work,it will have a significant impact on the air conditioner.Again,poor performance or cannot run,there are even security risks.In order to solve the problem of compressor quality and improve the reliability of compressor,the following aspects of rotary compressor are studied in this paper:(1)The use of quality tools FTA fault tree analysis,hundreds of failure mode of rotary compressor were summarized.Make logical qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex systems,evaluate system reliability,identify potential defects and risks,and implement corrective measures.The establishment of failure fault tree is conducive to comprehensive,rapid and accurate fault diagnosis and quality improvement Suggestions(2)FTA is used to analyze the most common failure cases of compressors.For air conditioning welding plugging failure and compressor liquid impact failure mechanism of case analysis,using an analysis of the causes from past experience FTA,will confirm and improve bad scheme is put forward,finally the failure case update in the FTA.(3)Use the quality tool FMEA,failure mode and effects analysis,effective quantitative assessment of each failure mode severity,occurrence,detection,and calculate the risk of each failure mode,failure modes of risk degree is high,the priority for quality improvement.Based on FTA and FMEA,VBA language is used to establish the auxiliary system for compressor failure analysis,and to assist compressor manufacturers and air conditioning manufacturers to make fault diagnosis and quality improvement quickly and accurately.(4)Using Weibull distribution,the establishment of the compressor life model,predict the life of compressor in air conditioning system,the early maintenance,prolong the life of the compressor,and can judge the failure of early failure,failure or accident loss period,is conducive to the quality of the project to carry on the corresponding improvement,improve the reliability of the compressor.
