With the increase of vehicle holding capacity,traffic congestion,travel parking,traffic safety has become the focus of the global transportation issues.As an advanced integrated transportation system with multiple technologies,the Intelligent Transportation System includes a wide range of contents and applications.Broadly speaking,ITS is the latest information technology,communication means and the Internet of Things innovative application in the field of road transport,and then it provides relevant innovative services to the traffic managers and drivers to improve the efficiency of vehicle traffic.Dedicated Short Range Communication technology is one of the foundations of ITS.DSRC is a wireless communication technology,can provide high reliability,real-time high-speed data transmission,it is dedicated to vehicle communication technology.Based on DSRC technology,a set of wireless communication network equipment is designed to establish the communication between the vehicle and the roadside on the basis of the actual demand of Wuhan Xiong Chu Road Bus Rapid Transit System Reconstruction Project.Including the 5.8GHz RF transceiver,the right-handed circularly polarized microstrip antenna and one high-gain directional right-handed circularly polarized microstrip antenna array the Road Side Unit were designed.The main innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)Improved the current market mainstream dual-chip microstrip antenna,The method of loading the antenna is used to make the single-chip antenna meet the needs of the system,reduced the microstrip antenna size by half.(2)For the shortcomings of the traditional flat array antenna circular polarization axis bandwidth,using the synchronous subarray technology designed a 16-cell antenna array,gain of the array up to 18 dB,and its volume is only one third of the current market mainstream product.
