Research On Zhengzhou Park And Greenbelt That Fits The Elderly By The Post Occupancy Evaluation

Along with the social development, number of elderly people in our country is incre asing constantly, population aging has become a serious issue. The elderly will have a lo t of free time after their retirement, how to build a hommization park has become the ur gent problem while green space of park is an important activities of the elderly. Therefor e, taking Zhengzhou as an example in this article, choosing three parks which gathered many elderly people, several studies were researched as follows:Firstly, I summed up the physical, psychological and behavior characteristics of the e lderly from relative literatures, and discussed the relation between special needs of the el derly and the park utilization. And adequate theoretical basises for study of this article w ere provided.Secondly, evaluation was mainly used, and related theory was used as the foundation in this study, through the investigation of the basic situation of three parks including the people’s park, Zijingshan park and Bishagang park, The status quo and characteristics of the park utilization for the old was understood, the results of the investigation were anal ysised and evaluated comprehensively, then the improvement suggestions were put forward.Thirdly, through summing up the investigation results of the three parks, the basic in formation of the elderly in the park activities and the value of the elderly on the park w ree mastered, the problems existing in the use of space of the elderly in Zhengzhou city park are summarized, and optimization strategy was proposed from the aspects of plannin g design and the overall construction.Fourthly, the park design of the elderly should follow the principles. Several clear re quirements were put forward on the detail design of the space for the elderly. In the con struction management level, several opinions were presented including enhancing the positi ve response to the understanding of the aging, ensuring park park management and impro ving the relevant laws and regulations policy system, etc.
