The Research On Design Methods Of Protection And Renewal Of Traditional Villages In Guanzhong

The inheritance and activation of traditional villages is one of the most popular topics in recent years.Guanzhong area,as the birthplace of Chinese civilization,still has a large number of traditional villages,constantly adapting and improving in the historical evolution,forming the present style.The traditional village is not only a record of people’s life style,religious rituals,local customs and so on,and records the village street scale,texture,space,architectural form and other material information.Because of the rapid development of modern economy,traditional villages with profound cultural heritage are facing unprecedented crisis.Traditional villages are unable to maintain and gradually damage,and can not meet the needs of modern life.Traditional architectural culture is disappearing rapidly,and how to solve it is worth studying and thinking.Starting from the investigation and study of the traditional villages Guanzhong area,this paper studies,analyzes and summarizes them,and finds out the objective problems existing in the traditional villages and the problems of subjective protection and renewal.In view of the traditional village studies,a series of problems of single subject and ignoring the spirit of the connotation and essence of the inheritance of traditional villages.By the introduction of cultural ecology,the author wants to use new views and methods to protect and renew Guanzhong traditional villages.Traditional villages are closely related to the surrounding natural environment,economic technology,historical culture,religious belief and other factors.The traditional village culture was formed of the material culture,intangible cultural and the villagers living in them,it is constantly changing and developing,is dynamic,therefore,traditional villages should not just stay at a certain stage,but should continue to develop and adapt to modern life.This paper tries to find out what the traditional villages need to protect and how to protect,what needs to be updated and how to update it,so as to put forward the strategies for the protection and renewal of traditional villages.Then the author apply theory to practice,take Hancheng Liu village as an example,the design practice includes the activation of village activity,the respect for site selection,the continuation of streets and alleys,improvement of node space,repair of building courtyard and several other aspects of the protection and renewal design.Through this study,we hope to provide new perspectives and methods for the protection and renewal of traditional villages,and contribute to the protection and renewal of the traditional villages in Guanzhong area.
