| With the rapid development of China’s economy, traditional villages have become an important social and cultural heritage, containing a deep and lasting vernacular culture,a symbol of a regional culture and a unique memory, and an important pillar of social development today. At present, many traditional villages are facing decay, mainly due to the influence of external environmental factors. Therefore, the core task of the study on the conservation and utilisation of traditional villages in the new era should be to explore how to preserve and pass on their unique cultural genes while reshaping their cultural ecology,so as to adapt to changes in the external environment and prevent the emergence of an imbalance in the multi-cultural ecology, which has become a key issue to be addressed.Based on this, this paper adopts a multidisciplinary research perspective of cultural ecology theory and selects traditional villages in Hanbin District,Ankang City,Shaanxi Province, which are ecologically based and multicultural,as the research object,to build a research framework of conservation and utilisation strategies with traditional village cultural ecosystems as the main body.By deconstructing the components of the cultural ecosystem of traditional villages, this paper attempts to find out the evolutionary laws affecting the cultural ecosystem of traditional villages, clarify the changes in the relationship between culture and environment and other elements in the development process of traditional villages,so as to propose a holistic and systematic conservation and utilization strategy for traditional villages in the Hanbin area, and also provide reference for the conservation and utilization practice of traditional villages in southern Shaanxi. The main research ideas are as follows: firstly, through the introduction of the theory of cultural ecology and related concepts, the traditional village is deconstructed into an organic whole that is mutually supported and interacted with by four circles:natural system, social system, cultural system and external support system-the traditional village cultural ecosystem;from the composition of the system to the problems that exist in the process of development From the composition of the system to the problems that exist in the development process, the development mechanism and factors affecting the development of traditional villages are analysed.Secondly, the cultural ecology of southern Shaanxi is used as a macro-level background to compare the commonalities and differences between the regional cultures of southern Shaanxi, and thus the Hanbin District of Ankang is chosen as the representative reason for this study. The cultural ecosystem of the traditional villages in Hanbin District has changed from a closed to an open one, accompanied by changes in the immaterial spatial structure and the disintegration of cultural organs. This will provide a basis for proposing a systematic strategy for the conservation and use of traditional villages. Finally,a longitudinal comparison of the 39 traditional villages in Hanbin District,a theoretical interpretation of the cultural ecology of the problems of the traditional villages in Hanbin District, and a framework for the study of conservation and utilisation strategies with the cultural ecosystem of the traditional villages as the main body of research. The framework is based on the principle of the balanced coexistence of cultural ecosystems, and the five aspects of "people, culture, land, production and scenery" as the main body of conservation and utilisation, thus proposing strategies for conservation and utilisation. This study aims to promote the conservation and utilisation of traditional villages in Hanbin District, and to provide a reference for the conservation and utilisation of the cultural ecosystem of traditional villages in southern Shanxi Province. |
