In the manufacture of automotive battery module,it's necessary to strictly control module's size,performance,module's stability and safety,so as to meet the stable operation of the power battery system in the vehicle working condition.At present,in the factory,the above indicators and assembly production of the power battery module can not be completed by neither manual measurement nor tools.To develop a form of automatic device for power batteries becomes an important engineering requirement.In this paper,after having a good knowledge of the structure and attribution of the power battery module and fully discussing about it,the assembly process of power prismatic battery is chosen to be an object for automatic assembling system design after analyzing.Firstly,there is a brief introduce for the composition and process of the prismatic battery module,the main processes consist of cells' process and modules' assembly.The cells' process includes OCV testing,tape insulation and cell stacking;modules' assembly includes terminal board assembly,side board assembly,welding,protective board mounting and protective board welding.Then,The assembly process is carded and the hardware is designed after having a good knowledge of the structure and attribution.in the electric core processing section,AGV is used to link product material with automatic production line,achieving effective integration of logistics automation and process automation.The high precision HIOKI test technology was used to test the battery cell,and the module was formed by the stacking with battery cell.In the module assembly section,we first use robot to terminal board assembly and side board assembly.Then we use 4000 W laser to weld terminal board and side assembly.We use robot with high-precision image sensor to install wiring harness isolation plate and use laser to connect welding piece.After the assembly and welding of the module,the voltage,internal resistance,total positive total negative insulation test of the module were tested,and the assembly and test of the whole module were completed.Then,the software of the system is designed,and the high-precision intelligent scanning code is effectively used to bind the product's two-dimensional code and run through the whole system,and bind the test data,sensing data and machine data to ensure the effective traceability of the product.Finally,this paper has carried on the software and hardware debugging and verification of the data fusion system,through information,physical mass customization manufacturing system,highly flexible,as the power battery module,high flexibility,large-scale mass production to conduct a comprehensive exploration and verification.The automation equipment of the whole power battery module has been completed successfully,and all the planning and design of the system have been realized.
