With the rapid development of embedded field, the Man-Machine Interface system on metro applying the input mode through touch screen is increasingly favored by the users of the signal system for urban rail transit. This system is an industrial computer with full-function specially developed for urban mass transit. It is connected with the satety computer on metro via communication line and controls other equipments in the way of touching, which enables it to collect and display in real time all the dynamic parameter information while the mero is operating. The system has a very wide application prospect for it is easy to operate, robust and space saving, as well as has rapid response. At the Tianjin Metro Line6Project, the proprietor raised the demand for the Man-Machine Interface system with12.1-inch screen on metro. However, the one with12.1-inch screen provided by Pixy Company has the disadvantages of unadjustable brightness of product and volume of loudspeaker, high heat given out by core module, unconvenience of program update, long time waiting for the system start, and etc. On the other hand, other further projects would be in need of this system, therefore this project is imperative.In this project, the writer is mainly responsible for the selection and design of the devices of the product’s hardware circuit, and the installation of Linux operating system and the driver. Additionally, the writer put forward the demand of simulation program, and has cooperated with the stimulation software engineer to make sure the program run well on the system. Besides, the writer has solved the problems which exist in the product by Pixy Company and affect the product performance, and completed the finalizing work of the hardware products which meet the demand. Having passed the certification work in this industry, such as dust-proof, shake-proof, protection against electromagnetic interference, working temperature and so on, the project devised a Man-Machine Interface system on metro which integrates the input mode of touching with the12.1-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and satisfies the personalized demands in the industry. Through all the certification works and various tests, it is proved that the system could reduce operation complexity of metro control and display system for the drivers and improve the security and stablity of its operation.
