Recently,compared with average profit rate of other industries in China,the profitRate of construction industry has failed to breakthrough 4 percent and fell far behind others.Thus,China's construction enterprises in order to have higher profit rate,it must attach importance to and strengthen the construction project cost management rather than pay attention only to calculating actual cost and despise the whole thought process of cost control as in the past.Therefore,China's construction enterprises must strengthen awareness of cost control,studying various methods of cost control suiTablele for companies to continuously improve cost control of the construction project.These are necessary means of the modern construction companies to conduct project cost management,which improve economic efficiency of enterprises,profiTableility and profit rates,have a strong practical significance.In this paper,based on the theory and method of project cost management,combined with the actual case of Shanghai CORNING Company planning expansion project.First of all,according to the project schedule and project resource planning,according to the project cost structure,we make project cost estimation.Secondly,according to the project cost estimation,determine the project's cost budge and according to the allocation of budgetary cost of various activities,determine the baseline cost control.Finally,combined with the different stages of the project,propose cost control measures according to the fact.The paper chooses project cost control as the main line,explore more effective method of controlling budget and project costs.
