Virtual Ship Simulation Research Based On Unity 3d

Virtual reality technology provides great convenience for people to experience the real world without leaving home.Applying virtual reality technology to the virtual design and construction of ships is a useful extension of information technology to serve advanced design,with certain research significance and application promotion value.This paper studies the related technology of virtual reality technology applied to ship 3D simulation,and designs and develops a virtual reality ship simulation system.Based on the detailed introduction of current virtual reality technology,the research work of virtual ship simulation system based on Unity 3d virtual reality platform is carried out with the aim of virtual design and construction technology in the ship field.The main work done is as follows:(1)Virtual reality technology and its development and application status in virtual ship design.Through reviewing the materials and reading the literature,we can learn about the latest research results of virtual reality at home and abroad,and deeply understand the key technologies for designing and developing virtual ship simulation systems using virtual reality development tools.(2)Virtual ship simulation system design.Deeply understand the function of the virtual ship simulation system,design the basic structure of the system;carefully analyze the system requirements,clarify the design positioning,obtain a feasible system design plan;improve the design plan and start the system development.(3)Development of virtual ship simulation system.Using 3d Max to make models,system development based on Unity 3d virtual reality engine,to achieve ship navigation simulation,ship cockpit and engine cabin virtual roaming,as well as ship docking and other functions.
