Research On The Aesthetic Characteristics And Cultural Value Of The 20th Century Soviet-style Architectural Heritage In Beijing

'Soviet-style Architecture' refers to “ New China Architecture ” designed and constructed by Soviet experts in the 1950 s and 1960 s,and related buildings under the influence of Soviet architectural principles and styles.Architectural cultural heritage is a manifestation of the public spirit of an era.On the one hand,Beijing's 20 th century‘Soviet-style Architecture' belongs to the historical and architectural heritage of the city and has high protection and research value.On the other hand,it has become an excellent point of penetration for us to understand the urban culture and historical changes of Beijing in the 20 th century.This paper takes Beijing 20 th century Soviet-style architecture as the research object,combines architecture,design aesthetics and other disciplines,summarizes its distribution and architectural characteristics on the basis of literature combing and field research,and analyzes its aesthetic characteristics and cultural values.Combined with the research results of Beijing 20 th century Soviet-style architectural protection identity,this paper proposes a concrete achievable protection strategy.With the rapid urbanization in Beijing,many architectural heritages have been destroyed,and Beijing's 20th-century Soviet-style architectures are close to us in time,so it has not received much attention in research and protection.The author of this paper has carried out a comprehensive literature review and field research on the 20 th century Soviet-style architecture heritage in Beijing.The specific research objects are ”the first batch of Chinese 20 th century buildings ” and “ the second batch of Chinese 20 th century buildings ” published by the China Cultural Relics Society and the Chinese Architectural Society in 2016 and 2017,respectively,There are 18 building heritages satisfying the connotation features of Soviet-style Architecture,and “Old Eight Schools” of College Road,including 12 buildings,12 cultural buildings,6 commercial buildings,3 exhibition buildings,2 administrative buildings and 1 residential building.So we mastered a wealth of first-hand materials contributing us deeply understanding the current situation and problems about Beijing's 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage.Based on the collected data,we systematically abstracted the aesthetic characteristics and cultural value of Beijing's 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage,and proposed some protection strategies to enrich the current 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage in Beijing.Research in this paper is supposed to make necessary supplements to the weaker aspects of research,and has important theoretical and practical value.Firstly,this study analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of Beijing's 20 th centurySoviet-style architectural heritage from four aspects: architectural layout,architectural fa?ade,architectural color and architectural detail,and draws relevant conclusions: Beijing 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage in architectural layout has the characteristics of layering and integrity,order and harmony,permeation and unity;the building facade has axis-symmetric three-stage aesthetics,unit sequence combined aesthetics,and point-and-face gradient aesthetic features;architectural color aspects It presents the warmth of red tone,the brightness of yellow tone,and the aesthetic feeling of green tone.The architectural details are mainly the symbolic meaning of decorative patterns,the spatial indication of architectural symbols,and the visual aesthetics of design expression of plastic arts feature.Secondly,this study explains the cultural value of Beijing's 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage from the perspectives of historical value,artistic value and cultural value,and draws relevant conclusions: the historical value of Beijing's 20th-century Soviet-style architectural heritage is mainly reflected in the near value of modern architectural history,the value of social life historical materials,and the inheritance value of Sino-Soviet culture;artistic value is mainly manifested in the duality of Soviet-style architectural art,the expression of Soviet-style architectural form,and the pluralism of Soviet-style architectural aesthetics;Beijing 20 The urban cultural value of the century-old Soviet architecture reflects the cultural diversity of urban architecture on the one hand,and the uniqueness of the urban style of Beijing on the other hand.Finally,this study combines the findings of Beijing 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage protection identity,based on the background of the construction of the Capital Cultural Center,summed up the overall thinking and construction principles of Beijing's 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage protection,and proposed two The specific protection measures are based on the “outdoor museum” model and the theme line based on the concept of “ cultural visit road ”,in order to give full play to the cultural resources of Beijing ' s 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage,activate the public cultural value of architectural heritage,and enrich Beijing urban cultural characteristics.In short,this paper hopes to provide a useful reference and reference value for the protection and research of Beijing's 20 th century Soviet-style architectural heritage through the interpretation and analysis of the aesthetic characteristics and cultural values of Beijing's20th-century Soviet-style architectural heritage,in order to protect the diversity of Beijing culture.It has made a small contribution to the overall inheritance and protection of Beijing's urban context and architectural culture.
