The Dynamic Protection Design Of Urban Historical Street Area

This project belongs to the design research of urban historical street area.It mainly discusses the protective design of Jinan General Temple Historical street area under dynamic protection.Through absorbing the experience from worldwide historical street area protection cases,combining the cultural background,current condition and relevant planning regulation,the project research the dynamic protection of historical and cultural street area.This project consists of six chapters.Chapter One is the preface.Chapter Two to Chapter Five is the main part,discusses and analyze the current status of General Temple Historical Street area.This part combines dynamic protection theory with the current status of the urban historical area,integrates the problems which analyzed in street area situation with concepts and theories,and adopts them in the design of General Temple Historical street area.In the last part—Chapter six,the project presents a summary and make an expectation.Under the tide of globalization,the urbanization process is constantly accelerating,and the urban culture also becoming increasingly diversified.The urban density and size constantly expend finally influenced the urban structure.So some historical neighborhoods have lost their functionality,traditional roles and population.General Temple Street area is an typical case that exchanges and integration of Chinese and western religious cultures.It also symbolizes the historical and cultural development of Jinan City.The project analyzes the culture,location,current situation and functions of General Temple Historical Street area and proposes the planning proposals,protection policy and techniques for it.By conducting organic protection,the project connects the past,present and future,so that General Temple Historical Street area can enjoy orderly and sustainable development.
