Over the past 40 years of reform and opening-up,China's economy has made considerable progress.The economic growth rate has changed from the original high-speed to the new normal.The national development also proposes that China's economy should develop in a good and fast direction and pursue green GDP.In the 13 th Five-Year Plan,it was also clearly pointed out that economic development should have the ability of sustainable development,as well as balance and inclusiveness.Under this background,promoting the adjustment of industrial structure and the optimization and upgrading of energy consumption structure is the necessary condition for realizing the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure and improving the efficiency of energy utilization.It is also the only way to achieve sustainable development.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the interaction mechanism and effect between industrial structure optimization and energy consumption upgrading,so as to clarify the relationship between them,and to improve the status quo of industrial structure and energy consumption structure of a country or region.Based on the data of Tianjin's industrial structure and energy consumption from 1998 to 2000,this paper studies the interactive relationship between industrial structure optimization and energy consumption upgrading in Tianjin,which not only has certain theoretical significance for enriching and improving the relationship between industrial structure and energy consumption structure,but also promotes the optimization and upgrading of energy consumption structure in industrial structure,and further promotes the economic development.It is of great practical significance to have good and rapid development and to build a beautiful Tianjin.Firstly,by comparing the current situation of Tianjin and China's overall industrial structure and energy consumption structure,this paper analyses the current position of Tianjin and the problems reflected by the current situation analysis;secondly,the grey correlation analysis is used to measure the degree of correlation between Tianjin's industrial structure and energy consumption structure;finally,the vector error correction model(VECM)is used to analyze the relationship between Tianjin's industrial structure and energy consumption structure.Through empirical analysis of the interaction between the two,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The optimization of energy consumption structure and the improvement of energy consumption efficiency can significantly promote the rationalization and upgrading of Tianjin's industrial structure.From the perspective of control variables,technological upgrading and financial development also play an important role in the upgrading of Tianjin's industrial structure.(2)The rationalization of industrial structure has no significant positive impact on energy consumption structure and energy consumption efficiency,but the upgrading of industrial structure has played an important role in promoting the structure and efficiency of energy consumption.From the perspective of control variables,technological progress has a significant impact on energy consumption structure and efficiency.(3)From the joint interaction of industrial structure optimization and energy consumption upgrading,industrial structure optimization and energy consumption upgrading have significant economic growth effect and environmental protection effect,their coefficients are(0.56,4.274),(-0.37,-0.617),and significant at the level of 10%,indicating that industrial structure optimization and energy consumption upgrading can achieve economic growth and energy saving and emission reduction.Dual goals.From the interaction coefficient of industrial structure optimization and energy consumption upgrading,the covariance coefficients are positive at the significant level of 5%.This shows that there is a significant mutual promotion between the two sides,which can effectively accelerate the environmental and economic effects of industrial structure and energy consumption upgrading.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly elaborates the research background,research significance(including practical and theoretical significance),research content and framework,research methods and innovation and shortcomings of the article,and analyses the current research results on industrial structure and energy consumption structure.The second chapter mainly explores the theoretical relationship between industrial structure and energy consumption structure.It finds that the upgrading of industrial structure and the optimization of energy structure complement each other,interact jointly,constantly strengthen the process of self-upgrading and optimization,and jointly promote the sustainable development of economy and regional environmental improvement.Chapter III focuses on the analysis of the status quo of the industrial structure and energy consumption structure of the whole country and Tianjin,compares and determines the current position of Tianjin,and analyses the existing problems.Chapter Four makes an empirical analysis of the relationship between industrial structure optimization and energy consumption upgrading,and explores whether there is a significant promotion relationship between the two sides.Chapter Five puts forward some suggestions on the basis of empirical research and combining with the current situation of industrial structure and energy consumption structure in Tianjin,including: 1.Reasonably adjusting industrial structure to maintain a reasonable proportion of the secondary industry.At the same time,vigorously develop the tertiary industry.2.To optimize the energy structure,China's energy structure urgently needs to be adjusted in the direction of ‘resource-saving' and ‘environment-friendly'.3.Continuously optimize the three industrial structures of Tianjin,especially the industrial structure within the secondary industry.4.Drawing lessons from the industrial structure upgrading experience of developed countries,Tianjin has continuously increased its investment in scientific research in the process of economic development and industrial upgrading,focusing on the development and research of technologies to enhance energy efficiency.5.Strengthen the development of existing large and medium-sized state-owned industrial enterprises and vigorously promote the development of new industries with low energy consumption,clean production and high value.
