Energy is an important material basis for human production activities and national economic development. With the development of economy and the high energy consumption, the total energy consumption and the energy consumption per capita keep the "double growth" trend. Our country is in the process of industrialization and urbanization, the task of infrastructure construction is heavy, the energy consumption just needs to be bigger, the contradiction between supply and demand is outstanding.China's energy consumption accounts for a higher proportion of the world's energy consumption,is the world's largest energy consumer, although the growth rate of energy consumption has slowed in recent years, but the growth of energy consumption is still huge, resulting in a growing problem of environmental pollution, the main reason for the problem is that China's industrial structure is unreasonable, energy use efficiency is relatively low.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic problems of industry and energy, and probes into the direct path and indirect path of industrial structure change affecting energy consumption according to the mechanism of energy system and economic system. Then the paper analyzes the changes of industrial structure and the development of energy consumption in China and concludes that: 1.China's second industry has a large proportion.Compared with developed countries,China's tertiary industry development is relatively backward, according to the industrial structure index results show that China's industrial structure adjustment experienced high-speed-low-speed-high-speed development process, and the second to third industry has advanced development trend;2.The total amount of China's energy consumption remains high, the differences in energy consumption in the provinces are remarkable, the distribution of energy consumption is "high in the north area and low in the south area",the intensity of energy consumption is decreasing year by year, and the efficiency of energy use in China has improved;3.The second industry accounts for a large proportion of the energy consumption in the three industries, especially the high energy-consuming industry has the characteristics of "high energy consumption-low output value".Secondly, based on the provincial panel data from 2000 to 2015,a spatial econometric model of industrial structure change and energy consumption in China is established to explore the spatial effects of industrial structure change on energy consumption in China. The results show that there are significant spatial correlations and significant changes of energy consumption agglomeration in China's provincial energy consumption, and the change of industrial structure has positive effect on energy consumption and has obvious spillover effect. In control variables, urbanization level, energy consumption structure and economic development level have positive effect on energy consumption, and technological progress has inhibitory effect on energy consumption. Then we establish the GWR model of 2000,2005 and 2015,and the model results show that: the influence of the remaining variables on the energy consumption is obviously different in the province except the spatial difference of the influence of the industrial structure change on the energy consumption is not significant,,and it has the distinct characteristics of spatiotemporal differentiation. Finally, based on the former analysis, the conclusion is summarized and the suggestions are put forward.
