Study On The Spatial Form Of Shanggu Station Traditional Settlement In Taihang Ancient Road

Yidoushui Village is now under the jurisdiction of Xiuwu County in Jiaozuo City.It is about 45 kilometers from Xiuwu County.The village is located in the Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area of The World Geopark,the southeast of Shandong Province.It is surrounded by rolling Taihang Mountains and is partially covered with depressions and valleys.In the context of the ancient station system,the ancient non-commercial traffic line on the East and West,most of the time through the Taihang Mountain is through the ancient road.The ancient road is usually located between the mountains and mountains in the Taihang Mountains.The road is rugged and difficult.In addition,the road is far away.Therefore,merchants on the commercial road generally choose to settle down and stay in a place along the ancient road where the terrain is relatively flat.Over time,these places are convenient to form some Che Ma shop for businesses to rest on the way.As time went by,the Che Ma shop gradually merged into a village,Therefore,a characteristic Shanggu Station Traditional settlement is formed and The Yidoushui Village is a typical representative of it.In the study of the village,the village was first investigated in depth and the contents of the survey were summarized.In the Taihang Mountains,a region with a long history and diverse terrain,the village’s production and development benefit from historical and cultural backgrounds,geographical locations,traffic conditions,natural resources and other conditions.Second is the study of the development and evolution mechanism of the village.Through the combination of longitudinal research with "time" as the main axis and lateral research with "space" as the main axis,we will try to clarify the occurrence,development and evolution mechanism of the settlement of Yidoushui Village and its unique settlement characteristics.At the same time,we will focus on exploring the internal mechanism of the mountain environment adaptability from the site selection and overall layout of the village to the natural environment resources such as landforms and land.Combined with the current situation of the village and the future development direction,some effective protection and update design strategies are proposed for different levels of the village.
