Preliminary Research On The Protection And Reuse Of General Heritage Buildings

As the basic component of cultural heritage buildings in China,general heritage buildings are precious,non-replicable and non-renewable architectural heritages.The protection of general heritage buildings benefits the inheritance of history and maintenance of heritage diversity.With the continuous expansion of the city scale,the conflict between urban construction and heritage protection has become increasingly prominent.The imperfections in management and other aspects have caused some general heritage buildings to be demolished and destroyed,those lucky enough to survive also face problems such as the lack of protection or improper use,which can damage the value of cultural relics and buildings.Under the background of the rapid development of the city,how to protect and reuse general heritage buildings has important research significance.This paper takes general heritage buildings as the research object,and expounds the concept,classification and value characteristics of general heritage buildings through literature study and analysis.Combined with case analysis and practice investigation,this paper also discusses the concept and method of general heritage buildings protection and reuse from the aspects of integrity,dominance and diversity.Firstly,the paper analyzes the connotation of the protection and reuse of cultural heritage buildings through the sorting and learning of the protection theories of cultural heritage buildings both domestic and overseas,and realizes the difference in protection between general heritage buildings and other levels of cultural relics preservation unit,and than summarizes the concept,classification and characteristics of general heritage buildings.Secondly,based on the analysis of the concept and protection dilemma of general heritage buildings,this paper summarizes the protection and reuse concepts of integrity,dominance and diversity,and this paper also summarizes the methods of protection,repair and reuse of general heritage buildings.Finally,the practical design of foundry workshop in Zhengzhou Coal Mining Machinery Plant is used to make a supplementary study on the protection and reuse of general heritage buildings.From the perspective of integrity,taking the leading role of historical value as the lead,and taking the multi-open reuse as the goal,this paper explores the protection and restoration strategy of foundry workshop and reuse methods of function,space and environment,as a result,the value of the foundry workshop is protected and also is continued through reasonable reuse.This paper hopes that through the preliminary exploration and research of general heritage buildings,it can provide some reference for the actual protection work and to be beneficial to the conservation and reuse of contemporary general heritage buildings.
