Research On The Application Of Emotional Design In Old Industrial Area Transformation

With the rapid development of China’s economy,great changes have taken place in the social structure.The traditional old industry has been unable to meet the needs of modern society,so the post-industrial industry is gradually rising.Under the tide of economic integration and constant adjustment of industrial structure,new industries have replaced traditional industries.In this context,the transformation of the traditional old industrial areas has become an urgent social progress.At the same time,with the progress of society and the development of design,people’s life style is becoming more and more diversified and humanized.In order to meet people’s spiritual needs,architectural space is endowed with more and more emotional significance.Architecture is no longer just a place to meet people’s work,rest and other activities,but pays more attention to users’ emotional and spiritual needs.This paper is to study the application of emotional design in the old industrial transformation,and take Shanghai 1933 as the case for analysis and design.
