In the era of economic globalization and electronic trend sweeping the global context,in order to meet the personalized needs of customers,the market for the product of technological innovation and supply stable demand is higher and higher,in such a situation,to enhance the core competitiveness,must be optimized to reduce costs and improve product quality,at present many enterprises of non-core business and non-critical parts mainly rely on suppliers,and suppliers in the supply of raw materials and the quality of the products seriously affects the final product quality.At present,the complex supply network among customers,suppliers and subcontractors,as well as the quality,cost and network control of products and other links directly affect the stability of the whole supply system.Enterprise in the process of development,improve product quality and reduce the cost price is the inevitable choice,and the key problems,and supplier management as the profit growth point of enterprise development is bound to the mining,enterprise in dealing with the relationship between suppliers and need to make new consideration for a lot of content,thus obtain higher quality of raw materials and products,optimizing the profits.In the current development situation,the relationship between enterprises and suppliers is getting closer and closer,and both sides share risks.Therefore,it is an inevitable choice for enterprises to enhance their competitiveness and achieve better development by strengthening the quality control of suppliers and building a mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation relationship through supplier management.This paper elaborates the definition of supplier management,the work of supplier management and the methods of supplier management,with emphasis on the discussion of the process of supplier management,the improvement of supplier quality and the improvement of supplier performance.F company is a foreign-funded enterprise which produces and sells fluid transmission equipment.In recent years,it has increased investment and developed rapidly in the domestic market.In order to keep up with the rapid development,the level of supplier management is a very important factor.This paper investigates the current situation of supplier management in F company,and finds out some shortcomings in the process of supplier management.For example,from the point of view of customer complaints,supplier problems rank first,Supplier fails to deliver in time,supplier's new products are too long to deliver,supplier has many quality problems,which lead to high bad cost,low pass rate and large internal workload.Slow progress in developing suppliers.After analysis,the main problems are the defect of supplier development process,the defect of supplier performance evaluation,the defect of supplier development mechanism and the imperfection of supplier management system.Finally,the improvement plan is put forward,including the improvement of supplier audit content,the increase of supplier grade assessment,the improvement of supplier disposal process,the improvement of supplier communication,the simplification of management process,the improvement of supplier performance process,and the unification of supplier quality,especially supplier measuring tools and inspection methods,to help suppliers improve their performance.Finally,vendor inventory management is established to improve delivery time.At the end of this paper,the implementation effect of the improvement measures of supplier management in F company is analyzed and prospected.
