With the development of automotive electronic technology,related technologies have been applied to ECU develop.Power,fuel vehicles use time,and driving comfort has been rapidly increased,it also reduces the car exhaust emissions and fuel use.In the electronic control system development process,a large number of tests need to be conducted,but the real vehicle test is difficult in early development and have greater danger,the bench test can solve part of the problem,but the control system performance in extreme or specific environment could not be tested.The hardware in the loop simulation platform can effectively deal with these issues.Based on the demand of automotive electronic control system simulation platform,the automobile engine model is established in MATLAB/Simulink.The ECU model of automobile engine platform can collect and analysis vehicle engine signal,including:the throttle angle,ignition signal,fuel injection signal,engine speed,temperature and atmospheric pressure.These signal were analysis and process and send to PC program through serial port.Finally the ECU model are called by PC program to realize data interaction and invocation.In addition,the interface is written by the host computer to control the simulation process and display the data in the simulation process.The system is simulated in the whole ECU Hardware-in-Loop Simulation System,to achieve real-time connection with the platform,and the steady-state performance test.In the process of testing,the output characteristic curve of the fuel injection quantity and the ignition signal is obtained when the different sensor signal changes,and the MAP diagram of the internal combustion engine is drawn by the characteristic curve.Finally,the running process data show that the ECU Hardware-in-Loop Simulation System of the vehicle engine is running stably,and the function of pre planning is completed.In addition,in the experimental process,through the graphical operation interface of the host computer,the control strategy can be changed in real time to observe the engine state after the change of the strategy,so as to improve the debugging efficiency of ECU.
